About The Still Waters

Our Mission
The Still Waters exists to bring God’s Word to people in their most human moments — when they are anxious, grieving, confused, hopeful, or simply in need of a quiet place to encounter God.
We believe Scripture is living and active. We believe the same God who calmed the Sea of Galilee is present with you right now. And we believe technology can be a tool for bringing people into that presence rather than pulling them away from it.
This app is not a substitute for a church, a community, or a pastor. It is a companion — a quiet place to find God’s Word for where you are today.
What We Believe
Scripture is sufficient.
The Bible is the living Word of God, sufficient for every human need. Our goal is to help you find it, not replace it.
You are not alone.
Whatever you are facing, you are not the first. Scripture is full of people who wrestled with the same fears, doubts, and griefs — and found God faithful.
Grace over condemnation.
There is therefore now no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus. This app will never shame you. We only want to point you toward the God who already loves you.
Free. Forever.
God's Word is free. Access to it should be too. The Still Waters has no ads, no subscriptions, and no hidden costs.
Privacy
When you type something in the emotion input, it is sent to an AI model to generate a Scriptural response. We do not store your input. We do not have user accounts. Your conversations are not retained.
The Still Waters does not use tracking analytics, advertising cookies, or any third-party data collection. What you bring to God here stays between you and Him.
